Please pray for the construction.

Tribal Churches in Kothpalem and Gingerthi:
Solomon and his wife had been praying for a church in their remote tribal village of Kothapalem in Vishak a District since a long time. On the invitation of a Christian brother we were visiting Kothapalem in 2005 when we met Solomon and his wife. The Lord immediately knit our hearts together. Through Solomon we met Deborah a widow who is living in the same village with her son. Deborah opened her home for a Cell Group. After an year, the same Cell Group had been converted into a Sunday Worship Service where nearly 15 people attend now every Sundday.
As the Lord burdened us for Bihar one of the poorly evangelised states in India, we began to pray and look to the Lord for His guidance. As the Lord led us, we made a survey trip three years ago in 2005 to Gaya and began to conduct pray walks and visiting the places. We got connected to a few persons and were able to slowly start a Cell Group. In the following years, we could conduct two mini Crusades. The response was great. It was heartbreaking to see so many thirsty for the Living waters.
Shophar Ministries has taken to foster 5 orphan kids who are housed in believer’s residence in the tribal area and are taken care of in all their well-being. John Vivek is a boy who was born to an unwedded mother and both the father and the mother have disowned him. Kumar is another orphan whose parents died. His older brother earns on a daily labour and was supporting him. Each child is a story to talk about. Today these kids go to a school regularly and are promised a bed to sleep and a home to live and a family to own them. Three square meals were a dream in their lives. All these things food, bed school and a family were missing in their lives earlier.
Shophar Ministries has started a Medical Center to cater to the village that has no medical help. Patients have to travel or carry patients to long distances for treatment. Shophar Medical Center now to caters to some of the emergencies cases and regularly treats patients.. Nearly 6-8 villages are being catered to. A fulltime doctor and nurse are appointed to look after the Medical Ministry. Pray that those treated would find true healing of their souls in Jesus Christ
